Partnerships with Parents
Support Group/Coffee Morning
We would like to help parents to empower each other through Support and Education.
Parents and carers of children with additional needs can often feel alone when trying to support their child’s needs. It can be reassuring to meet other parents experiencing similar worries and concerns. Often the best advice can come from each other.
We will resume our coffee mornings as soon as the new building work is complete. Keep an eye out for updates.
Our Family Support Worker Ashley Read will run this. She will be on hand to discuss any worries or concerns regarding education and signposting to other agencies.
So please come and join us and enjoy a cup of tea and piece of cake.
Parenting Groups
Our Family Support team are now trained to facilitate parenting course. We will be delivering The Solihull Approach to parents and carers in school or at your home once the new building has been complete. We will update you with dates as soon as we move.
Parenting courses are available via Herefordshire Council website. If you need an help accessing this please contact our school Family Support officer, Ashley Read.

Parent/Carers Association
The Brookfield School PTA
Welcome to The Brookfield School PTA page.
We at the Brookfield welcome all parents / carers to attend PTA meetings once a month, it’s a really good opportunity to meet other parents and support the School.
The PTA is here to assist the school with Fundraising events, School activities like christmas parties and to give an all-round positive impact; we want to hear your ideas.
As a school we support your children and feel with the PTA we can all work together to provide great opportunities and accomplish so much more to make us a better place for you and your children. For example, the change in uniform to support families was bought to our attention by the PTA, we listened and found a cheaper but still quality uniform.
For those parents/ carers that struggle to meet people, this is a rare chance to have a stress free coffee and a chat.
If you feel you have some good ideas, or you want to help us in different ways please don’t hesitate to contact Wendy Roberts, School Office or speak to Keleigh Mullet, PTA chairperson and get involved.
We look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon.
Thanks
The Brookfield School.
